Primary News – February 2022

During the month of February our primary school students will be busy learning about God’s world, celebrating special days, and practicing their literacy and numeracy skills.  The preschoolers will be focusing on friendship, community, and using words to show kindness.  In Kindergarten students will learn about snow and animals in winter, practice odd and even numbers, and explore more about vowel teams as they sound out words.  Our first graders will dive deeper into stories by practicing their comprehension skills, extend their addition and subtraction strategies, and discover how sound and light energy work.
