Elementary News – May 2022

Our elementary students are expanding their knowledge about the ocean, its creatures, pollution, and what they can do to help. This month, they took a field trip to Blue Ocean Discovery Center where they helped clean up over 9 pounds of inorganic material. Along with our elementary teachers and some of the students’ parents, it took them just an hour and a half to accomplish this. They picked up over 700 pieces of trash including plastic, metal, and cigarette butts.

With only a few weeks left in the school year, they are working hard to finish their academics, which include some group projects. You can do it elementary! We believe in you!
