High School News – May 2022

Now that college acceptances have been delivered, future plans have been established and there is less than a week left of their high school career, seniors are focused on senior trip and graduation.  The countdown is nearing the end.

Disc golf continues for the month of May while the yearbook team is getting ready to share their final product with the commUNITY.  

Language learners continue working on developing their written expression and fluency whether that is through in-person Spanish or online with one of 24 languages offered by Rosetta Stone Language Labs. Students taking Spanish have been compiling a collection of stories they have written throughout the year. So far they are up to eleven! In humanities and STEM, they have been learning more about God’s creation, including humans, and His role in history.

High school students have just completed their spirit week last week. They enjoyed days like advisory theme day, anything-but-a-backpack day, and character day. Fun was had by all. Some of the students were very creative!

Our yearly awards ceremony happened this month. We love that we get to highlight students who are leaders academically, spiritually, and athletically. Congratulations to this years’ award recipients!

You only have a couple weeks left high schoolers! We are proud of what you have accomplished this year.
