Primary News – May 2022

News

During the month of May our primary school students have been busy learning about God’s world, celebrating special days such as Butterfly Day and Community Dessert Celebration, and practicing their literacy and numeracy skills.

The preschoolers have been focusing on plants, creatures that help things grow, and preparing to show their parents a variety of work at Student-Led Conferences.

The caterpillars descended upon our Kindergarten class. Students learned about butterflies, prepared for Student-Led Conferences, and explored more about God’s order as they practiced skip counting, place value, addition, and subtraction.

Our first graders have been diving into learning how to research, which animals are found at a zoo, and are making posters about those animals based on their research. First grade also just finished taking their very first NWEA tests, and we are so proud of how well the tackled the challenge.

We are so proud of you primary students! Let’s finish the race well in the last couple of weeks.
