Our senior class served at the NH Food Bank here in Manchester. The NH Food bank is the only food bank in the state of NH. They serve agencies from all over the state, helping the 1 of 9 NH families who do not have an idea where their next meal is coming from.
Mount Zion senior class served in the “Fresh Rescue” program meaning they sorted and organized frozen meat and foods to be sent out to food banks across the state to be given to local families. They organized 2,289 pounds of food in 79 cases. That’s enough to provide 1,907 meals to hungry families.
